Claude Project Knowledge Exporter Bookmarklet

Export your Claude AI project knowledge with a single click! This bookmarklet allows you to download your project documentation in both Markdown and JSON formats without needing to open the browser console.

How to Install

Make sure your bookmarks bar is visible:
- Chrome/Edge: Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+B (Mac)
- Firefox: Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+B (Mac)
- Safari: View → Show Favorites Bar
Drag the blue "Export Claude Project Knowledge" button above to your bookmarks bar
If dragging doesn't work:
1. Click Copy bookmarklet code above
2. Create a new bookmark in your browser. If you cannot find that option, bookmark this page first, then edit that bookmark
3. Name it Export Claude Project Knowledge, then paste the copied code into the bookmark's URL or address field

How to Use

Open any Claude project in your browser (URL should contain /project/)
Click the "Export Claude Project Knowledge" bookmarklet in your bookmarks bar
Choose your preferred export type:
- Consolidated only: Single overview MD file + JSON
- Individual files only: Separate MD file for each document + JSON
- Complete export: Both consolidated + individual files + JSON
The script will automatically download your selected files
Check your browser's download folder for the exported files

Troubleshooting

Bookmarklet doesn't work: Make sure you're on a Claude project page (URL should contain /project/)
No downloads: Check your browser's download settings and popup blocker
Organization ID prompt: If prompted, you can find your organization ID in browser cookies (look for lastActiveOrg) or in the developer console
